Avengers: the Initiative #10 preview *SPOILERS*

7 pages of glorious goodness including one of old school New Warriors.


The preview is certainly packed with interest stuff such as Cloud 9 walking in on a Hardball/Komodo scene *cringe* and Gyrich meeting KIA but the highlight for me is just seeing the New Warriors again as a team (as drawn by Stefano Caselli) so pretty damn awesome even if it is a retcon. Yes, you read right, Slott/Gage have retconned the New Warriors but even in doing so they prove they know their characters well so I actually don't mind this retcon too much as other more harmful recent retcons (though notable by his absence is Nova) and oh Suzie, could you be anymore of a fangirl?

So, any thoughts, list of characters appearing in the preview are in tags so you can avoid if you desire...

I think it's because we were stung so badly over Nita, Thrash and Speedball - as fans, we're expecting them to kill the rest of the team. I half believe there's a memo floating around Marvel saying to get rid of the New Warriors at all opportunities, signed JQ...

I'll half enjoy seeing them together again (even if it's in the past) but I'm also half waiting for the remaining team members to perish or be de-powered in this KIA story arc.
