Numbers 9 is the all important one.
9. New Warriors
Disney XD is aimed squarely at a young, male demographic, and already has a couple of different teenage superhero themed shows on its schedule, including Marvel's own The Spectacular Spider-Man and the live-action original series Aaron Stone. That being the case, this channel seems a good fit for a version of New Warriors, the Marvel team of teenaged heroes who have had a few different incarnations through the years. While they've certainly been used for dark purposes in recent Marvel books (most notably when most of the current team were killed at the start of Civil War), it's the earlier, more straight forward superhero days of the team that would be the focus here.
The New Warriors offer plenty of enjoyable yet hardly A-List characters to work with, such as Night Thrasher, Marvel Boy, Rage, Firestar and Speedball. And then there are characters like Namorita, who also allow for some fun connections to the larger Marvel Universe, and perhaps some mentions of her cousin – and likely eventual movie star – Namor.
Other suggestions include Young Avengers, Runaways and Power Pack.
