Interview with Kevin Grevioux about New Warriors *spoilers*
It makes for very interesting reading.
There are a few spoilers both in preview pages and subtle hints as to what is coming up in the comics.
Fake cut to Comic Book Resources article - Counter Force Majeure
It seems that Counter Force is an official Initiative team or at least it comes across that way, yay, go the old New Warriors (though I guess it'll be confirmed one way or another in Avengers: the Initiative #12 tomorrow).
Decibel will get some more page time.
Bummer that Sil isn't in Counter Force even though she's portrayed as being on the team on the cover of #14.
And skrulls of course.
Plus a battle royale between old and new teams. That's definitely something to look forward to. :D
Has anyone heard of this Koi Turnbull who is going to be the new artist?

And while I'm happy the issue's out today, I dread it, because it becomes the same thing. I like the book, can barely find anyone to discuss it on message boards without them nitpicking every single thing, and being made fun of because I like this version.
From one message board: (What 'Vibe' do I get from v4? A bunch of thankless fans, that's what. ;) )

Remember I had a little rant about New Warriors a month or so ago. Well weirdly enough, by the end of my rant I realised I actually did care what happened even if they weren't much like the old New Warriors. They were still characters I liked really well. I think I was miffed a being misled about there being a returning warrior and it turned out to be Donyell. But never mind, I love the rest of them enough to worry about dropping sales etc. That said, they wouldn't have trotted Grevioux out at NYCC on a panel if they were going to sink his ship anytime soon.
I'm keen to see some more Jono, I've always liked him and it's good too see him not moldering away out of continuity somewhere in an x-book.
When I was reading up about the Counter Force vs. New Warriors thing, I was so reminded of when Emma Frost turned up with the Hellions and they all fought one against one. That was so cool. I'm curious to see how the two teams will battle it out if indeed there is a battle in the end.
